England Made Me

All about England

The Sussex Toy and Model Museum can be found next door to Brighton train station, to the north of the city centre.

It is home to a wide variety of exhibits, but is most well-known for its model railways, many of which are in working order. Pride of place goes to a rare tin-plate O-guage railway, still in working condition.

But the museum is also home to everything from dolls and their houses, to teddy bears, to model aeroplanes – so whatever your taste, and regardless of age, there will be something that will appeal.

The Sussex Toy and Model Museum is open daily except Sundays, but opening hours vary according to day so do check in advance. Admission costs around ??????or adults.
