All about England
This is the biggest Islamic Centre in Britain, first opened in 1978. It is situated on the western side of Regent’s Park. The mosque with its golden dome was designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd.
Visitors both Muslim and non-Muslim are welcome to visit – just make sure that you dress appropriately and remove your shoes before entering so that you don’t cause any offence. Inside there is a good information centre.
