Cheltenham is the venue of a series of first class Festivals each year, which attract thousands of visitors to the town annually.

Perhaps the best known of Cheltenham’s Festivals is the National Hunt Festival held at Cheltenham Racecourse each March.

But Cheltenham also hosts two exciting arts festivals each year. The town’s Literature Festival takes place every October, with a wide variety of events taking place all around the town.

Cheltenham Town Guide, Festival of Music, 13K Equally popular is the Festival of Music, over 50 years old and held in July each year. An offshoot of the Festival of Music is the Jazz Festival, which takes place in April and is rapidly gaining an excellent reputation.

Also held in July is the town’s annual Cricket Festival - a series of one-day cricket matches, which are fun for all the family. Even non-fans will be bowled over by the genteel atmosphere!
