For a 1 year old boy,you could make him a pumpkin outfit very easily!

Frist,buy a sleeper in a color that is as close to pumpkin as possible, then buy a yard or two of felt material. Cut out pieces and sew them together to make a big pumpkin belly, and then decorate it in whatever way you want to! You can even make it three D by stuffing portions of the front! (Don’t stuff the back at all–he’ll be uncomfortable.) Make sure to leave a little space in the beck for closure, and leave holes for little arms and legs.

Then take a little piece of felt and cut it into the shape for the pumpkin top! You can stuff that and use a smaller piece for the stem! Craft stores will have items you might even be able to use for the stem, to make it look viney. Then you make a little elastic headband or maybe a tie for the bottom of it, and he can wear it like a hat.
