England Made Me
All about England
This small, local museum is situated in the 18th century Burgh House. It tells the history of the area, especially the period of its hey day as a popular spa town.
It also recounts the lives of some of the most famous past residents of the area, for example the artist Constable and the poet Keats.
Burgh House is open Wednesdays-Sundays from noon-5pm. Entry is free.
