England Made Me

All about England

Haringey is the area of north London that lies just beyond the districts of Highbury and Islington.

Today’s Haringey district was formed during the borough changes of 1965, when a new borough incorporated several of north London’s previous boroughs, such as Wood Green and Tottenham.

It is a predominantly residential district, although the part that used to be Tottenham Borough is slightly more industrialised.
