Here’s some really good diy Halloween costume ideas and tips for adults:

1.A dalmatian is easy. cut out black ’spots’ on felt and sew/ glue them onto a white sweatshirt and pants/stockings. Do the same on white ears (cut from white felt) which can be bobbypinned to hair. Do the same to white sneakers. Make a tail by stuffing tissue in the leg of white stockings, sewing it closed, and pinning it to your butt. You can put a clothes hanger in the tail, to make it bendable. Make a patch around your eye, and whiskers using eye liner.

2. Be roadkill…run over a shirt for tire marks, make jeans messy and add a little red makeup.

3.Get 2 pieces of poster board at Walmart and a black marker. Draw the spade design in the middle of each and make an Ace of spades costume. Tie the two posters together at the shoulders. Wear black slacks and black top under it.

4.Box of popcorn.Ccardboard box/glue/popcorn or crinckles up paper painted yellow.

5. Serial killer.Put a box of cereal around your neck and get like a plastic knife and paint it red.

6. Wear a barrel with some like heart boxers.

7.Try any of the tv sitcoms or reality shows:my name is earl characters;grays anatomy;the view cast;the today show cast;desperate housewives or regis and kelly…..

8.Be batman and also recycle instead of of usin costumes bought at a store use a trash bag and yellow cloth then use pipe-cleaners as ears.

9.Go to your local thift shop or budget store, look for a dress in a polka dot or fancy print, get an see thru apron to put over it. Get some long red stockings or tights and black slip on shoes. Buy a mop head and dye it red, to wear as a wig. This can be bobby-pinned on. Put a big red bow in your hair too. Buy some face paint and make freckles. Now you are raggidy Ann.

10.Get a pair of striped bib overalls and an old demium shirt, a pair of work shoes and work gloves. Get a striped cap. Now you are a railroad engineer.

11.Buy an old nurses uniform and get an apron, and some old tennis shoes in white. Put a hairnet on. Take a pencil and paper pad with you and you become a waitress. What about taking some old longjohns in white and putting black tape around them or else a black majic marker and make stripes. Get an old hat somewhere or make one from crepe paper with stripes. Some old black shoes. Maybe a toy bowling ball with a plastic chain attached to it. Now that’s a prisoner. You can get the sticky numbers like they put on mailboxes to put on your back.
