Here’s some tips on how to make a homemade punk Goth outfit for Halloween:

Take the big wire spring out of a spiral notebook and weave it around all over your face.

Then go to a sporting goods store and buy a bunch of fish hooks, spinners and flys and hang them from your ears, your eyebrows, your nose, your lips and anywhere else you have some open space.

Use purple and black felt pens to draw in details like lips and eyes and ready-to-pop zits. Whatever’s left, scribble in with homemade tattoos.

Use an electric drill and day-glo florescent rattle can paint to style your hair.

For clothes, go to a circus and steal all the clothes off a clown, drag them behind a car for a while, then spray paint everything flat black except the socks, then be sure to add lots of chrome rivets and chains.

Lastly, I’d toss a few sharp rocks into your 10 sizes too big logger’s boots to give you that authentic, cool, crappy attitude. You’ll look great!
