England Made Me
All about England
Here’s some really good diy Halloween costume ideas and tips for teenagers:
1.A hippie from the 60’s would be very easy to do with items found at home.
2.Seeing as there is still enough time, you could tye dye a tee shirt if you don’t already have one.
3.Jeans should be torn. You could also use fabric paint to paint flowers on them. You could embroider them. OR you could get either sew on or iron on patches for them. A peace sign would be “groovy”.
4.If your hair is long enough you could make a small braid on each side in the front. And of course a headband going across your forehead. Also some small flowers would work.
5.Of course sandals for your feet, or barefoot.
6.Also all self respecting hippies had beads
7.Some John Lennon sunglasses would be cool too.
8.You could also make a hand help sign that says, ” Make Love, Not War”, or it could just have a Peace Sign on it.
9.Chances are that any items you might be missing could be found at the local thrift shop, for a “very reasonable” price.
10.What about dressing up like the 50’s. Tight small blouse, Hot pink sweater, tight jeans folded at the ankles(cuffed up). Bobbie socks, Oxford shoes, red lip stick, with red cheeks, and some eye liner, hair either teased or brushed up in a single pony tail. And don’t forget the bubble gum. Do the snapping. A small purse to match your outfit. Pinky Tescadero from Happy Days or Grease.
You could really have alot of fun with it, if you use your imagination. Happy Halloween.
