Actually 4, 5, and 6 were completely ignored when they made Halloween H20. The “Jamie Lloyd” character was supposed to be Laurie’s daughter and Laurie dies somehow (they never really explain how) but in H20 she has her son John but not Jamie.

It also says (due to the newspaper clippings) that Laurie died in a car accident and since we know that didn’t happen she must’ve faked her death to get away from Michael. So why give Jamie up? That’s what makes me think they ignored the 3 sequels leading up to H20. I love H20 but it could’ve been better. The only problem I have with it is that it uses the music from “Scream”, but that’s a minor thing for me as it was exciting to see Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie again. They killed the series with that abomination known as “resurrection” the latest sequel until next friday that is. I have mixed feelings about this remake. I love the original but I hate remakes, leave it Rob Zombie to play with my emotions like this.
