Senate House is located on Kings Parade, opposite Kings College Chapel.Unfortunately for visitors to Cambridge, Senate House is not open to the public, so you will have to make do with admiring the exterior.

The building dates from the 18th century and was designed by the renowned architect James Gibbs in the classical style.

The building holds a special place in Universitylife for this is where many formal functions, including the annual graduation ceremonies, are held.
