England Made Me

All about England

Cardiff’s parish church of St John can be found on St John Street, just to the south-east of Cardiff Castle.

Dating from the 15th century, this is one of Cardiff’s few attractions that date back to before the Victorian era - the other most obvious one being Cardiff Castle.

Although its situation, right in the centre of a busy intersection, leaves a bit to be desired, St John’s is an attractive church, best known for its elegant tower.

And if you venture inside you will find that the interior is surprisingly light and airy, offering a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle outside.
