Here’s some helpful Halloween pumpkin carving tips:

1.Get one of those pumpkin carving kits, some come with saws and patterns.A good old fashion Knife works really good as well. Plan what you want, draw it on paper then transfer to pumpkin and cut!

2.Slice the Top of halloween pumpkin off. Empty seeds in bin. Make vertical cuts all round the flesh taking care not to cut through skin. Hollow out flesh with large spoon.When you have nearly reached the skin, stop. Draw features on outside then cut them out very carefully with a sharp pointed knife. Put low candle or tea light in . Replace lid. Abracadabra!

3.Cut a zig-zag circle around the top and prise off,then scoop all the seeds out with a spoon, then cut out eyes nose and scary mouth-then you light a small candle and put it inside, switch the lights off and call the kids-then if your anything like me you have to spend the next half an hour calming them down and stopping them from crying because they think a monster is in the house!
