Thanksgiving Day is a Celebration of what God has given us, time to harvest the crops, give thanks, it’s also about family gettig together, gathering around the table. However as we tuck into the turkey and cranberry sauce, let us not forget about the many thousands of children who’ve been made homeless and are hungry in Lebanon and Iraq and the 100’s of thousands who have persihed as a result of the cluster and bunker busting bombs paid for by us from our taxes and directed to killing and destruction of those innocents since George W. came to power.100,000 and over in Iraq alone.

So as we tuck in, and celebrate, loosen our waist bands, let’s not forget those who’ve been massacred, or who are homeless and hungry and say a prayer for them, and also pray that we will soon have a leader who’s foreign policy isn not driven entirely by agression and greed.
