Start of by having a look through a few prospectus’ and look at the skills it says you will develop.

They will probably be things like critical thinking and evaluation techniques… maybe these are skills you would like to acquire or develop, and be able to apply these skills to your life aswell as a future career (hint!)

Write down why you are interested in the subject. with no reference’s to CSI! Maybe it will help you to get the career you want in the future. Its always a good idea to state how it will help you after uni. The skills you will acquire and how you will use your degree.

Also remember that your personal statement is for all the different uni’s you have applied for. You need to sell yourself to them. How hard working, and reliable you are (use examples from college/ school, good attendance records etc)

And if you have applied for different course you need to remember this in your statement.
