The birthplace of famed English poet William Wordsworth, this house is now a National Trust property.It is open weekdays from April to October, from 11am to 5pm.
Dating from 1745, the house has been restored to how it would have looked when Wordsworth was alive, and it contains all manner of memorabilia relating to the poet and his life.
Wordsworth House is situated in the lakeland town of Cockermouth, in the northern part of the Lake District National Park.
